Remy Higgins is a Senior Associate with Pendley, Baudin & Coffin joining the firm in January 2019. Remy is engaged in general civil litigation practice primarily focused on representation of plaintiffs in pharmaceutical and/or medical device MDLs and class actions. He also has experience litigating consumer fraud, antitrust, and RICO claims. Remy is the Head of Law and Briefing for the firm, in charge of preparing motions, briefs, and appeals for the firm’s clients. He has experience handling briefing in both federal and state courts, including appellate courts. Remy has spent most of his career representing plaintiffs in pharmaceutical and/or medical device MDLs and has had the privilege to work on numerous MDLs in a variety of roles. He has a wide range of complex litigation experience, including drafting briefs, participating as an MDL trial team member, and defending and taking depositions.
Remy is a Georgia native and attended the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2008. He then earned his Juris Doctorate at the Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2011. Remy is an active member of the American Association for Justice, serving as a member of the FAIR committee and the LGBT caucus. He is also a graduate of the American Association for Justice Leadership Academy (Class of 2024-2025). He was named to the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, 2025, and 2026 Super Lawyers Louisiana Rising Stars list.
