Whistleblower

A Whistleblower or Qui Tam lawsuit allows private citizens to sue on behalf of the government even though the individual has suffered no personal harm, but has information that a company has committed an act of fraud against the United States Government or the government of a particular state. You must be the first person to file a whistleblower lawsuit, as only the first person is entitled to the government reward, and there is a statute of limitations that applies to a Qui Tam claim. You should not discuss your claim with anyone other than an attorney.
