Andrea L. Barient



Andrea Barient is an associate with Pendley, Baudin & Coffin, L.L.P., joining the firm in September of 2019. Prior to joining Pendley, Baudin & Coffin, L.L.P., Ms. Barient served as an appellate prosecutor for the Louisiana Department of Justice. Ms. Barient has litigated post-conviction cases in numerous district and appellate courts across the State of Louisiana. She has successfully argued before the Louisiana Supreme Court and earned a seat at counsel table representing Louisiana before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Ms. Barient primarily practices in the area of complex litigation, involving mass tort and class actions across the nation. Ms. Barient also maintains a general law practice, including succession, real estate and personal injury cases in Louisiana state courts.
