PBC is investigating and commencing litigation of cases against General Motors (GM) over claims involving its Generation IV 5.3 Liter V8 Vortec 5300 engine that was installed in 11 different SUV and truck models from 2010-2013. The claims say the defects cause internal damage to the engine.

On March 1st "60 Minutes" aired a report on Lumber Liquidators seeming to intentionally mislabel Chinese made laminate flooring that is sells. It seems this Chinese made flooring contains levels of formaldehyde higher than those allowed by California law. "60 Minutes" visited factories in China that make the laminate flooring for Lumber Liquidators.

In this litigation, plaintiffs allege Atlas Roofing Corporation, Inc. manufactured and sold thousands of roofing shingles containing non-rust-resistant metal fragments to consumers Roofing Corporation for use in constructing shingles. The defective shingles rust and deteriorate at a faster rate than reasonably expected causing rust stains on homes and surrounding property.
Thousands of defective roofing shingles containing the manufactured by Atlas were sold throughout Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma for use in commercial and residential buildings.
